FOSTER:  By placing a dog, cat, puppy, or kittens into a foster home, we're able to take in even more of Swain County's homeless and abandoned pets.

• Zero medical expenses for you.
• Food provided as needed.
• Additional supplies available.
• Help a pet who is too stressed at the shelter.
• Help a pet recover from a medical procedure.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:  Donate your time by volunteering at our shelter, thrift store, festivals or fundraisers. There are all kinds of things you can do to help!

• At the Animal Shelter working and socializing with the animals.
• Sort  items at the PAWS Thrift Store.
  
• Help at adoption events.
• Help at fundraising events.
